204 French 20th Century Silver Chamberstick

A 1911-1916 French silver chamberstick. The chamberstick has a square tray and candle holder. The tray and candle holder are well decorated on its edges with raised leaves, flowers and vines and the decoration is connected by swirling vine. Each corner of the chamberstick has a butterfly like decoration and the stem of the candle holder has the French clover leaf decoration. The finger holder is a thick vine with a thumb rest which is monogramed. The marks on the chamberstick are of Alphonse Debain who worked in Paris between 1911-1916. The chamberstick is 15 cm wide and 7 cm tall and weighs 200 grams.
