A 19th century French bronze and tin chamberstick. The chamberstick has a rectangular shape and its base has a tin or tin alloy sculpture of a girl placing a wreath, or flowers on the head of a boy with one hand, holding his chin with the other. Twigs and flowers serve as background in the sculpture. The candle holder is at the edge of the chamberstick and is connected to the handle by a screw. The rim of the chamberstick has various straight line designs, while the candle holder and parts of the handle are curved. The chamberstick is 16.5 cm long (including the finger rest), 9.5 cm wide and 7 cm tall. It weighs 240 grams
