An 18th or early 19th century French enameled champlev? bronze chamberstick. The enameled chamberstick has the shape of a frying pan with a folded rim which is present in 18th and early 19th century chambersticks with a folded rim. It is enameled with light red and blue with an oriental inspiration with medallions of the cross and long branches with flowers, which could indicate connection to a church. These features are unusual in enameled chambersticks of a later period. It has a diameter of 10.6 cm, a handle of 13.5 cm and it is 5 cm tall. The chamberstick weighs 260 grams.
