118 French 19th Century Bronze Chamberstick

A 19th century French bronze chamberstick. The chamberstick is an aesthetic movement dragon shaped chamberstick with Longwy Majolica comprising the stem of the candle holder. The dragon has extended wings, and a curled tail which forms the finger holder. The candle holder emerges from the mouth of the dragon and has the lovely apple blossom Longwy Majolica forming the stem of the candle holder and ending in a square bronze base which is screwed to the candle holder. The chamberstick was once gold gilded which has mostly worn off. The chamberstick is 15 cm long from edge to edge and 18.5 cm tall, it weighs 650 grams.
