44 English 19th Century Sterling Chamberstick

An 1896 English sterling chamberstick. The chamberstick has a relatively large candle holder with a ribbed outer surface suitable for striking matches and it has a fluted surrounding dip tray (seven sided). The chamberstick has the date mark for Chester 1896 and the maker’s mark W.M for William Neale or William Neale & Sons. The chamberstick has a 9 cm diameter with a somewhat extended finger holder on one side. Its height is 4cm and it weighs 50 grams.
