A 19th century silver Spanish chamberstick. The chamberstick has a round design with an extended handle. The base stands on three feet and has a relatively high round protruding rim which is beaded. The stem is beaded in the mid point and rises to the candle holder which has a rim with a missing/cut wedge shape. Tweezers, which are typical (for Italian and Spanish chambersticks) are connected by a chain to the back of the handle. The handle which curves down has buckle like decoration. The chamberstick has three marks P. JIRO or MIRO; J BONNIN and a crown or star above M which is above C A. The marks are unknown. The chamberstick has a 9.8 cm diameter with the handle extending an additional 14 cm. It is 7 cm high and weighs 210 grams
