An 18th century Spanish Brass chamberstick. The round chamberstick has two concentric rings which lead to the elevated base for the hand turned screw of the candle holder and provide a tight fit. The candle holder also has several rings around it matching with the base of the chamberstick. The long handle and the shape of the hole in the handle are typical Spanish, although the chamberstick could have been made in another country as well. The base has an 11.5 cm diameter with the handle extending an additional 13 cm. It is 9 cm high, and it weighs 350 grams.
