A 19th century French silver Chamberstick. The chamberstick has a round simple base with a long handle which is decorated in a different style from the relatively plain base. It does not stand straight indicating that the handle which is of a different style might have been added at a later date. The base is marked with a hard to read cygnet (swan) mark. The chamberstick diameter is 8 cm and the handle is an additional 11.5 cm, it weighs 70 grams
