A 19th century Art Nouveau French Gold Gilt chamberstick. The elegant cast chamberstick is shaped as a figure of a woman in a dress sitting on her knees with stretched arms, and holding a candle holder which stands on a stem of a flower. The folds and cloth of the dress flow and create the base of the chamberstick in the Art Nouveau style. The finger holder or handle is twisted into a bow on the back of the dress. The woman’s hair is tied behind her head with two flowers each adorning a side of her head. The chamberstick is 14 cm long 12 cm wide and 13.5 cm tall. It weighs 670 grams
