13 German 20th Century Copper Chamberstick

A 20th century German copper chamberstick. The chamberstick is a tall chamberstick with a round base. Its unique feature is a flexible thin copper reed which is connected with two rivets to the bottom of the candle holder or stem. The reed, by its flexibility, holds the candle in place in the plain candle holder which is a simple ring with no bottom. The stem and three legs are also connected by rivets to the round base. The chamberstick has an unknown mark of HL in a rhombus beneath a crown. The chamberstick is 18 cm tall and its base has a 10 cm diameter. It weighs 260 grams
