A 20th century German Brass chamberstick. The chamberstick is square shaped with each of its four sides raised. Each side is also punched out with 4 crescent like holes, giving it a somewhat airy look. The chamberstick was made in Germany and its top ring can be turned to make the candle cup smaller so various size candles can be accommodated. It was patented in various countries, all listed on the candle cup. Also marked under the thumb hold with “D.R.G.M.”, a German Reichs patent indication. The chamberstick measures 11.4 cm across and 5 cm tall. It weighs 170 grams.
