83 Dutch 18th Century Brass Chamberstick

A sheet brass frying pan chamberstick which is probably late 18th century and is Dutch or English. The handle is cast brass with a pierced hole for hanging. The socket which is also brass sheet is riveted to the base with copper rivets. The handle is also riveted to the pan with copper rivets. Similar chambersticks may be found in “Antique Brass Candlesticks” by John Robert grove, figures 104-108. It has a diameter of 17cm, a handle which is 14.5cm. long and its height is 6.5 cm. It weighs 220 grams
