An 1895 American sterling chamberstick. The chamberstick has an elevated oval shape with a gadrooned rim which turns into a rectangular tray. The candle holder stands in the middle of the rectangle and is well decorated. The tray, candle holder and finger holder were probably cast pieces which were combined together to form the chamberstick. Each part is decorated differently from the others. The chamberstick has the sterling and Howard & Co mark and the year 1895. It is 14.5 cm long, 10.6 cm wide and 5.5 cm tall. It weighs 140 grams
