A 19th century French silver plated chamberstick. The chamberstick is a silver plated church chamberstick of Gothic design. Its wide round rim and long handle are engraved throughout with flowers, leaves and trefoils, while the candle holder and stem have no engraving. It was sold by the Stanbrook Abbey prior to their move to North Yorkshire with #78. Its round base has a diameter of 15 cm with the handle extending an additional 11.5 cm. It is 5.7 cm tall and weighs 300 grams
