40 German 19th Century Silver Chamberstick

A German silver chamberstick from the first half of the 19th century. The elegant chamberstick has a round shape but is placed on a plain square base. The round bottom part of the chamberstick is slightly decorated. The stem of the candle holder rises from the round bottom and in the middle as a dome like decorated shape. The candle holder is a plain one. The finger holder has a place for the finger and an extension for the thumb. The chamberstick is marked with the bear and letter K which corresponds to the Berlin hallmark of the first half of the 19th century. The makers mark of FEC and B (German mark for strong S) are also seen. The square base is 8.2 cm long and the round base has a 7 cm diameter. The height of the chamberstick is about 10 cm and it weighs 110 grams.
