A 19th century English brass chamberstick. The chamberstick has a round shape with a candle holder which is similar to much older Dutch or English chambersticks. However, the removable bobeche and the decoration indicate a later date. Its rim is raised at an angle and the rims’ edge is wavy with a shape similar to half circles. Its base and handle are decorated and a message “Good Night” is inscribed opposite the long handle. The handle is riveted to the rim and the candle holder was probably also riveted in the past. The chamberstick has a diameter of about 15.5 cm and is 7.5 cm tall (without the handle). It weighs 370 grams
