A 19th century English Sterling chamberstick. The chamberstick has a round shape but is unusual in several ways. It rises above the surface in several steps/levels until reaching the top of the candle holder. It is weighted, and covered in felt on the bottom, which could indicate it as 20th century. It has several bands on the finger holder and on the base. It is hallmarked for London Sterling, but there is no letter for the date and the makers mark seems to have been overstamped. It has a 4.8 cm diameter and is 6 cm high. It weighs 75 grams.
