A 19th century Dutch silver chamberstick Dutch . The chamberstick is oval and embossed with leaves and flowers at its rim. Its candle holder is raised with a scalloped design decorated on its rim with a scalloped outline. Its handle has a shape which is somewhat similar to the decoration of the rim of the base. The chamberstick has the same shape and identical handle as #241. It has the Dutch hallmarks of lion and a key used 1853-1953 (for export of silver) and the number 2 below denoting 833 Silver. Additional marks are not clear. It is 17 cm long with the handle, 8.8 cm wide and 7.5 cm tall. It weighs 130 grams.
