219 American 19th Century Sterling Chamberstick

An 1882 American Sterling Chamberstick. The chamberstick is an early Arts and Crafts chamberstick made by Dominick and Haft. The chamberstick has an entirely wrought body with a riveted and soldered handle. The hammering in the chamberstick is outstanding. It was retailed by George Shreve and Co. Its diameter is 12.5 cm and the handle is an additional 9.3 cm long. It is 3.6 cm high and weighs 200 grams.
