12 French 19th Century Pewter Chamberstick


A 19th century French pewter chamberstick. The chamberstick which is oval shaped, is typical Art Nuveax. Its base is decorated with two swimming fish amidst waves and some foliage. Its handle starts from the edge of the base and becomes the stem of the candle holder. The candle holder itself has six petals for the wax dripper and six petals covering the candle holder. The chamberstick is 16.5 cm long, 12 cm wide and 10 cm high. It weighs 300 grams
