This 18th or 17th century Spanish Brass Chamberstick is well put together. Its Shaft with original hand-turned thread screws well into the base and the handle shows very little play with the saucer and is fastened with two brass rivets. The hand made handle shows unevenness and non symmetry. The rim of the saucer shows waviness. The chamberstick is about 14 cm tall with a base diameter of 14 cm. Overall length (including the handle) is 28.5 cm. Its weight is about 400 gms. A similar candle stick is mentioned in The Brass Book by the Schiffers, page 156 figure C.
