74 German 19th Century Sterling Chamberstick

A 19th century German silver chamberstick. The chamberstick is rectangular with the tray elevation and base of the candle holder all keeping the rectangular shape. The rim of the tray and of the detachable bobeche have a delicate leave and twigs decoration. The candle holder and elevated wedges throughout the tray are similar to Austrian chambersticks. The marks have been rubbed but judging from the way the chamberstick is attached to the tray with a hole for the little pin it is probably German. The chamberstick is 17 cm long, 12.5 cm high and is very heavy weighing about 350 grams.
