A rare 19th century French Pietra Dura chamberstick. The chamberstick has a Pietra Dura inset plate in a bronze French Champleve (enamel) chamberstick. The Pietra Dura plate has intricate inlaid white flowers and green leaves in the black marble plate. The champleve is beautifully colored with red, various shades of blues yellow and white throughout the bronze setting. The candle holder is at the edge of the chamberstick which is unusual as most champleve candle holders are in the middle of the chamberstick. It is 20 cm long by 7 cm tall and 9.5 cm wide.
