325 American 20th Century Sterling Chamberstick


An early 20th century American Sterling chamberstick. The small Black Starr and Frost chamberstick is a plain round chamberstick with no decoration or repousse. It is typical of Arts and Crafts. Its candle holder is attached to from the middle of the tray ( with no stem) and it has a simple handle with no finger holder for carrying it. The chamberstick has the marks Black Starr and Frost, New York. The chamberstick has a diameter of about 5.5 cm, with its handle extending an additional 2 cm. Its height is about 2 cm, and it weighs about 15 grams.
