The chamberstick has an unusual shape with the base having an oval like shape, while the stem of the candle holder, the candle holder and its wax dripper have a square shape (although the rim of the wax dripper is round. The base has a flowing flowery or wavy structure, which is typical of Austro Hungarian chambersticks. This structure is also present in the candle holder. There are no other decorations on the chamberstick. It has a finger holder and thumb rest which are tilted backwords. The chamberstick is marked with the Vienna standard mark, 13 loth (0.813) silver, and the year 1853. An additional mark is rubbed. The length of the chamberstick including the finger holder is 16 cm, it is 9.5 cm wide and is 8 cm high. It weighs 110 grams.
