An 1880’s American sterling chamberstick. The oval chamberstick has a fluted decoration at the bottom of the tray and on the rim. Between the two there is a delicate repousse decoration of flowers and leaves. The chamberstick has the sterling and the Tiffany silver marks which were used between 1873-1891. The chamberstick is 9.5 cm long, 7.4 cm wide and 3.4 cm tall. It weighs about 50 grams.
