An 1892 English Sterling chamberstick. The round shaped chamberstick is completely embossed and decorated. An embossed decoration of a castle and some trees cover the base of the chamberstick while foliage decoration covers the rim and the rest of the base. The candle holder is set on the continuation of the finger holder. A snuffer which has no marks was probably added to the chamberstick. The chamberstick has the hallmarks for Birmingham and T&P for the silvermakers Taylor and Perry. The chamberstick has a diameter of 9.7 cm, it is 4.7 cm tall and weighs about 50 grams
