A 19th century German silver chamberstick. The chamberstick is round with a flowing design throughout the chamberstick. Its base has 8 sectors which are lower and folded over to the rim (continuing with the 8 sector theme). The candle holder is round with 12 sectors which rise up to the removable wax dripper which has 8 sectors. The design is similar to Austrian chambersticks (see #121). The chamberstick is marked with the figure 12 denoting German silver marks prior to 1886 of 12/16 Loth. It has a a 12.7 cm diameter and is 8 cm tall. It weighs 130 grams.
