A 19th century German silver chamberstick. The chamberstick is a plain round chamberstick with no decoration or embossing. The original base was rolled or bent to provide a round stand. Its candle holder rises in a round form from the center of the base to form a 16 sided polygon which ends in a detachable round wax dripper. The chamberstick is marked with the figure 12 denoting the German silver mark prior to 1886 of 12/16 Loth. There is also two additional marks, an unrecognizable city mark and the word Lilpo. The chamberstick has a diameter of 11.8 cm and is 8.3 cm tall. It weighs 260 grams
