23 Austrian 19th Century Silver Chamberstick

An Austrian (Austro Hungarian) silver chamberstick which is decorated with a fine mesh on the tray and candle holder. The chamberstick has a monogram with a crown on the top and full hallmarks circa 1880 (with marks which were used after 1867) with the number 3 denoting 800/1000 silver fineness. The makers mark VC could be Vaugin Carl who was active from 1850 to1902. The chamberstick has a 12 cm diameter with the finger holder extending an additional 3.5 cm, it is 7.5 cm tall, and it weighs 160 grams.
