209 Dutch Century Silver Chamberstick

An 1880-1890 Dutch silver chamberstick. . The chamberstick is round and its 12 cm handle has a finely detailed cupid. The bowl is hand chased with branches, leaves, swirling fruit and floral design. The chamberstick is marked with numerous marks, the lion mark with the number 2 (used from 1814 to 1953) is in the bowl denoting .833 silver, a letter (hard to read) on the candle holder which dates the chamberstick to around 1880-1890 and the makers mark AB (undocumented) with the assay office on the handle. It is 24.2 cm long, the diameter of the bowl is 13 cm and its height is 5.5 cm. It weighs 127 grams.
