An 1872 Russian silver chamberstick. The chamberstick which is rectangular, was weighted with lead at its bottom and weighs with the lead about 500 gms. Its finger holder which probably came loose was re-attached with lead to the candle holder. It has the 84 silver sign, the sign for St. Petersburg, and the assayer ?E (un identified) over the year 1872. It is 9 cms by 7.6 cms and its height is 4.3 cms.
