194 Austrian 19th Century Silver Chamberstick

An 1827 Austrian silver chamberstick. The chamberstick is a plain, silver chamberstick with a hexagonal tray. The tray’s rim, a bent hexagon is decorated with small beads. The stem is round leading to a round wax holder and candle holder. The finger holder has an oval thumb rest which is monogramed. The rim of the chamberstick is marked with the Austrian marks for Loth 13, the year 1827 and the letter “H” , the letter sign for the city of Graz. Another hallmark on the other side the silver maker’s sign “P.P.” which is undocumented. The chamberstick is 7.8 cm wide, 6.5 cm tall and weighs 82 grams.
