An Austrian 1830s silver chamberstick. The chamberstick has a shield pattern all around it near the rim with the same delicate pattern on the rim of the bobeche. It has a plain round finger holder with a thumb rest. The chamberstick has the silver mark of 13 Loth (13/16 silver content) and the date 183x (last number is not readable) probably from Vienna. The makers mark which can be seen has not been odentified. The chamberstick diameter is 9 cm, it is 6.7 cm tall and weighs 90 grams
