An 1829 Russian silver chamberstick, made in Petrograd (St. Petersburg). It has a gadrooned rim and gadrooned candle holder rim and a shell decoration for the thumb rest. The marks on the bottom are the Russian marks of 84, MK over 1829 denoting Michael Karpinsky, assayer and the year, it also has a mark LUDVIC (undocumented). The 84 mark also appears on the candle holder. There is a later Polish hallmark around the rim. It has a Diameter of 10.4 cms. Its height is 9.8 cms and it weighs 144 gms.
